Though Intel’s being used by most of the players, high-end computers that are selected by gamers or other intensive workers will be comprised of mostly Nvidia’s or AMD’s chips. That’s isn’t because Intel is not having high-end chips. Intel’s latest Comet Lake-H Series is capable of 5Hz+ clocking speeds. Yet, they fall behind AMD’s and Nvidia’s flagships.
New Cores With Impressive Features
The latest offering from Nvidia is RTX 3000 series which is touted to be launched in GTC Conference held in March this year. Under this series, a reported by mydrivers, Nvidia may bring two flagship processors as GeForce RTX 3070 and GeForce RTX 3080, which are currently codenamed as GA104 and GA103 respectively.

The specifications are as below:
GA103 or GeForce RTX 3080
GA103 is reported to feature 60 SM arrays, 3480 stream processors, 320-bit video memory, and 10/20GB GDDR6 VRAM. This chip, if announced, will be the first-ever one to have 20GB of RAM! Considering its huge specs, it may be announced as GeForce RTX 3080 chip.
GA104 or GeForce RTX 3070
GA104 is the next GPU which is said to have 48 sets of SM arrays, 3072 stream processors, 256-bit video memory, and 8/16GB GDDR6 VRAM. As previously stated, these new processors will be based on 7nm architecture, probably crafted by Samsung or TSMC considering Nvidia’s past relationships. Further, the core factor of this architecture is of new Ampere, rather than current Turing. As per specifications listed, two processors will have significantly improved features than in current Nvidia’s offerings, RTX 2080 Super and RTX 2070 Super in terms of steam processors, memory bit and capacity.
